Job Description:
This role will report to the Order Management Associate Director remote.
Responsibilities:
Perform billing, daily reconciliations, research and customer service-related activities supporting the company's business operations
Perform payment application while making sure payments are applied accurately and in a timely manner.
Monitor the central email box where customer billing replies and inquiries go, along with answering phone calls through the billing line
Enter detailed notes and updated client information in our CRM system
Work with Dow Jones Finance team to complete vendor forms and customer registrations
Submit customer invoices into their designated billing portals, as needed
Meet defined department and individual goals along with assigned month end reporting requirements and metrics
Assist our Collections Specialist as needed, with Collection related responsibilities
Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships within the department and company including OPIS, AXXIS, and Dow Jones. Communicate with internal staff regarding customer’s accounts
Maintain client confidentiality and always deliver a friendly, but professional level of service
Comply with company and departmental policies, procedures and performance standards including internal controls and SOX compliance
Research and perform special projects and other administrative activities, as needed
Required Skills:
2+ years in the accounting field, strongly preferred
Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Ability to demonstrate Intermediate level Microsoft Excel skills
Knowledge of Google Suites, including G-sheets, Docs and Slides
Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, and internal accounting controls
Strong attention to detail, goal oriented, the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines
Preferred history of demonstrated success in a fast paced, flexible environment with shifting demands and priorities.
Effective research and problem-solving skills
Must be able to work from 8:30am to 5:30pm ET

Pay Range: $40,000 - $160,000
