Job Description:About Us
OPIS, a Dow Jones company, provides price transparency across the global fuel supply chain, including the Spot, Wholesale Rack and Retail markets. OPIS enables customers to buy and sell energy commodities with confidence via multi-platform access to accurate data, real-time news, powerful analytics and educational events. Our commitment to reliability is reinforced by personalized customer service and constant innovation. OPIS listens to what energy stakeholders need and responds with flexible and easy-to-use products. Navigating world fuel markets is complex – OPIS makes it simpler.
Every day we architect and design for high-availability, scalable, and fault tolerant systems that are decoupled and easy-to-maintain. All new products are developed as microservices, with a focus on cloud native development and containers deployed on Container as a Service (CaaS) container management systems. The developers on our teams subscribe to a DevOps model where time to market (TTM) is a vital measure that we are constantly striving to improve. Quality is imperative and SQA is considered a part of the development process. As such, automated unit testing, regression, and integration tests are considered a key part of reaching our TTM goals.
