Job Description:

Barron's Group is looking for an energetic, digitally savvy program manager to join the Barron’s team overseeing programs across Barron’s group, and specifically responsible for our newsletter ecosystem, including premium and B2P2C onboarding and support. This role will interface directly with our Advisor and Finance Pro teams as we continue to build out this ecosystem.

Critical to this role, is partnership within the Barron’s in education business team, as this person will help to onboard new BIE member elements, plus provide overview and training materials.

Reporting to the Director of Product, Barron’s, this role will assist in the development of organizational processes, and products that support a growing subscriber ecosystem.

Exceptional communication and organizational skills are a must, as is a familiarity with digital media, membership, customer experience, newsletters, digital advertising products and online marketing.

Interested candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 years of project management and/or client services/account management experience and be able to work with our internal product, design, research and development teams to execute programs in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Candidates should be highly motivated self-starters who are ready to hit the ground running.

Job responsibilities will include:

  • Development of detailed project plans to monitor and track progress

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties for the flawless execution of projects

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

  • Conduct exploratory research in partnership with Customer Intelligence and Customer Service teams to inform new feature and product development.

  • Engage on competitive research and coordination with customer intelligence team for Barron’s Group research needs

  • Execute operational product tasks. See examples below:

  • Tech on-boarding / setup for university banners

  • Tech on-boarding / setup for market brief

  • Native advertising setup for newsletters

  • Coordinate and manage day-to-day operations and communications w/partners and internal departments to ensure smooth projects

  • Act as a liaison between various internal groups such as product management, product marketing, product development, sales teams

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, documentation assets and 3rd party resources

Program managers are responsible for overseeing the achievement of larger organizational goals. They coordinate efforts between different projects without managing any one of them. Instead, they lead the overall program with strong attention to strategy, implementation, and delegation. Program managers are highly skilled professionals who help organizations stay on schedule, on spec, and ultimately on an upward trajectory of success and growth.
