Support the Direct Marketing Manager by driving acquisition to The Wall Street Journal and Barron’s through offline acquisition campaigns, predominantly the direct mail marketing channel
Regularly update mail plans, direct mail grids, scripts for inbound calls, and other ad hoc reports
Regularly track subscription orders and marketing activity results
Monitor industry competitors to stay aligned with current marketing tactics, provide test recommendations, and identify growth opportunities.
Analyze data and provide insight on sales performance, meanwhile identifying opportunities for further growth within the sales channel.
Develop promotional and marketing mechanics to increase sales, upon approval, implementing on time and within budget.
Maintain and streamline reporting and forecasting, ensuring accurate data is distributed internally; update as necessary with the different teams.
Work with the design teams to update all creative components
Work closely with other teams, including Brand, Engagement, Retention, Channel Management, Customer Service, Media, and more.
Develop strong relationships internally and externally to ensure successful creative campaigns, impacting sales and revenue growth within agreed brand guidelines.
Provide first class administrative support including putting presentations together and assisting in budget management.
Open POs, process invoices, track expenses and provide month-end forecasting estimates
Ensure compliance to legal and best practice standards aiming always to take care of our customers as well as meet regulatory requirements.
Be familiar with the WSJ reader research, and other Dow Jones products in order to communicate the primary benefits to potential WSJ members through our marketing material.
Have a passion for staying up-to-date on global breaking news, politics and trends in technology and innovation.
