Lead Generation Manager
Reporting to the Lead Generation Manager, the role of the Lead Generation Associate is to support all lead generation initiatives across the WSJ Professional business, and work closely with the membership sales and marketing teams to ensure an efficient and timely flow of leads that result from our activity.
Our ideal candidate would be detail-oriented, self-motivated and comfortable with numbers. You should have strong communication skills and a professional demeanor. You should be extremely well-organized, take ownership of the tasks at hand,be able to multi-task and remain calm under pressure. You will also be someone who enjoys being a team player, and can handle many different types of people and cultures with tact and courtesy.
What are my key responsibilities?
Co-ordinate the execution lead generation campaigns and initiatives across the Professional group;
Co-ordinate all new audience data research briefs, working with the team to define the criteria and then managing delivery of the brief with our third party research partner;
Co-ordinate all data loads into the marketing automation platform, ensuring that all audience data is present, complete and ready for inclusion in campaigns;
Lead handling, triage & processing
Management of all marketing inboxes, qualifying inquiries to sales for follow-up through the CRM system;
Monitoring sales activity to ensure that all leads are dealt with in a timely and appropriate manner;
Support the membership sales team by processing trial/demo requests and sales orders;
Maintain the quality, accuracy and completeness of data held on the CRM system, ensuring that full information is available on potential clients in order to facilitate the sales process and maximise conversion;
Handling gone away and blacklist requests in different mailboxes, updating records in Salesforce.com and responding to any blacklist inquiries;
Analysis & Reporting - Collate and report daily/weekly/monthly KPIs to the Professional Management team, including:
Lead volumes by type and source;
Open opportunities by type and source;
Conversion and Retention rate analysis;
Sales and opportunity volumes by rep;
Sales volumes by lead type and source;
Sales volumes by company and buyer profile;
Closed lost opportunities by reason;
Trial and customer usage statistics and feedback .
Success metrics for the Lead Generation Associate, include:
Membership growth and renewal;
Lead generation volumes and distribution;
Timely feedback and reporting;
A positive approach to all aspects of the job.
IT literate with a working knowledge of MS Excel is essential;
Excellent organisation skills, able to work under pressure and to tight timescales in a fast paced environment;
High level of accuracy and attention to detail a must;
Ability to produce comprehensive reports and act on results;
Ability to take ownership and responsibility;
A self-motivated and proactive team player, who will continuously build upon and share knowledge and expertise with the team;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels;
Results-driven, high-performing, high-quality work attitude;
Experience with Salesforce.com or other similar CRM systems is desirable.
