The Sponsor Engagement team is the center of excellence for post-sale Live Journalism event sponsorship programs that produces award winning global events for Wall Street Journal | Barron’s Group. This team is dedicated to white-glove client service for bespoke programs above and beyond event sponsorship performance and experiences. The Events Director will report directly to WSJBG’s Vice President, Commercial Growth.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is an experienced leader and mentor—articulate, highly organized, resourceful, solutions oriented, customer service focused, a great communicator, problem solver, has a great attitude and is a team player. The Events Director will oversee his/her Sponsor Engagement team as they act as the single point of contact with the client and internal teams, producing all elements of a client's program and collaborating with the respective Dow Jones teams to manage the success of the client’s objectives. Program elements may include but are not limited to: thought leadership production, live journalism and event components and all key client deadlines, launch dates, etc. so experience and expertise in these areas is key.
