Account Management’s role is to create long-term, trusting relationships with our clients by ensuring the smooth implementation, and successful execution of a campaign post-sale – on time, on budget, and delivering on the clients KPI’s. In addition, Account Management will act as our client advocates and work with internal departments to ensure that our clients needs are understood and satisfied. The Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned clients, help develop new business from existing clients and support the sales team in actively seeking new growth opportunities with our existing clients.
Operating as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to assignedaccounts existing programs.
Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships.
Leading and supporting the team to provide vision, purpose, direction and motivation - mobilizing team to execute.
Elevating the customer/client relationship for complex / high-touch programs while demonstrating commitment to a fantastic user/member experience. The ultimate metric of success will be to deliver an excellent case study for the business going forward - hitting client KPIs, with an “on brand” program and setting the stage for renewal or ongoing activity.
Collaborating across departments to drive renewal and revenue growth.
Partnering with Performance and Insights teams to provide analysis of media performance and content effectiveness and/or ROI.
Serving as the main POC in delivering on client's KPIs, successful coordination and end-to-end execution of the programs.
Partnering with Program Management to oversee the program timeline, deliverables, budget and partnership milestones.
Partnering with Ad Ops to ensure proper auditing and trafficking is in place and that all revenue is captured; limit client makegood requests.
Being organizationally excellent and detailed orientated - delivering reporting and providing weekly status reports (e.g. RAG) to internal and external teams, organizing assets on client folders and hosting weekly calls to keep teams updated and the project on track.
Skills & Experience
Active listener who can effectively present information and recommendations to clients and internal
stakeholders at all levels.
Proven track record managing multiple strategic programs/activations simultaneously.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Excellent organizational skills - ability to manage multiple, deadline-driven, projects with cross-
functional groups at the same time.
Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally; strong project management skills
Strategic capabilities: exhibited understanding and interest in media-buying and custom content
trends; ability to translate insights into client solutions.
Experience with digital media planning, custom content performance, and ad operations.
Experience training and mentoring junior team members
The Account Manager will report directly into the Director of Account Management.
