Dow Jones Solutions is a fast-growing team of dynamic marketers, writers, content and creative strategists, videographers, designers, photo editors and developers.

This role is to ensure internal and external communication and continuity so projects get completed on time and on budget with quality output and client satisfaction.

The Integrated Solutions Producer will oversee Dow Jones Solutions’ projects from pre-sale through to post-sale as a creative resource manager and cost management center. The ISP is accountable for planning and implementation, as well as tracking cost, resource time spent, production schedules, SOW’s, client timelines and creative deliverable output for specific projects. The ISP will manage the client relationship as it pertains to the project output and will liaise closely with the client partner as the primary owner of the client relationship. The ISP will use JIRA as a project management tool and will be organized to industry specific Dow Jones Solutions programs (i.e. Finance or Luxury) to mirror the Dow Jones Solutions Strategic Services team.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Integrated Solutions Producer will have a wide range of duties including some or all of the following:

Plan the project

Complete the project pricing document outlining both external and internal cost associated with programs.

Monitor, on an ongoing basis, program hours and other costs associated with programs to ensure we continue to perform under budget and within scope.

Define the scope of the program in collaboration with Solution Engine Leadership.

Ensure Scope of Work and any legal documentation relating to program are completed and closed in a timely manner.

Ensure creative briefs from Strategic Services team are approved to be sent to Creative Director and design team.

Develop a schedule for program completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities from pre-sale to post-sale and identify the sequences of activities needed to successfully complete the program.

Determine the creative resources required to complete the program with Creative Director & Head of Production.

Support and partner with the Dow Jones Strategic Services team to execute any needs from pre-sale through to post-sale.

Review all program schedules with Operations Director, Creative Director and Strategic Services lead and all other staff that will be affected by the program activities; revise the schedule as required.

Determine the objectives and measurements upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion.

Ensure Quality Control is part of every program scope and is executed on an ongoing basis.

Is able to take on most or some of the production duties to ensure the success of a program.

Professionally lead client facing conversations in connection to any program deliverables.

Successfully manage a budget, PO creation, PO approvals and ensure freelancers are set-up to be paid accordingly.

Staff the project

In consultation with the Dow Jones Solutions leadership team, assign teams with appropriate skills for the project activities.

Manage clients according to the established policies and practices of the organization.

Ensure that all project personnel receive an appropriate orientation to the organization and the project.

Contract qualified consultants to work on the project as appropriate in connection with the Producer, Creative Director and Operations team.

Implement the project

Execute the project according to the project plan.

Develop forms and records to document project activities and project resource hours.

Make sure that all communication from all parties are logged in JIRA tickets to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured.

Monitor the progress of the project in JIRA and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project in partnership with leadership team.

Using JIRA update operations and team members on the progress of the project.

Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards.

Evaluate the project

Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality.

Evaluate the successful outcome of the project as established during the planning phase.

Ensure we produce work we’re proud of, holding all parties accountable.

Required Experience:

Extensive experience in production or post-production.

Client-facing experience required (B2B client experience preferred)

A demonstrated successful track record managing healthy production budgets and project time tracking

Experience managing third party contracts

Must have experience working across various creative disciplines (digital experience preferred)

Must be able to effectively work independently

Must perform well in a fast-paced, demanding environment with multiple competing priorities

Excellent time management skills

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders

A proven history of delivering high quality creative output, on time and within budget
