Department overview

The OPIS Sales Operations Team is responsible for building, maintaining, analyzing, and reporting critical to the operations of the OPIS sales team. The Sales Operations Analyst will report to the OPIS – Associate Director of Sales Operations. The role sits within the Sales Operations team which interacts with the entire sales organization and is responsible for enhancing the overall operating efficiency and excellence of the sales function.

Overview of Position

The Sales Operations Analyst supports the sales department with improving performance through sales reporting, analytics and process documentation. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who has a keen eye for detail, asks questions to clarify understanding, and has a desire to ensure data is correct. They will work closely with other members of the sales operations team to produce reports on performance and forecasting, provide ad-hoc data pulls as well as help identify possible areas of improvement. Will support large projects or processes that have a major impact on departmental results. Work is performed with limited oversight.

What You Will Do:

  • Compiling and maintaining reports detailing sales performance and forecast metrics visible to sales leaders and stakeholders

  • Performing audits and data validation to ensure clean data and coordinates with appropriate teams to implement any changes

  • Supporting the sales and operations teams through ad-hoc requests or analyses to help them reach their revenue goals

  • Making recommendations for process improvement and optimization as well as documenting them

  • Be involved in cross-functional projects to help resolve issues impacting core sales operations, scale and grow the areas of analytics, reporting and planning

  • Ability to understand and create top-quality, audience-appropriate communication

  • Flexibility to support new areas of the business as they integrate into the OPIS business

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • A minimum of 2-4 years of relevant professional experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables

  • Knowledge of NetSuite and Salesforce preferred

  • Proven ability to work and interact in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment and comfortable with requirement to multi-task

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

  • Track record for being detailed-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Power BI and Tableau knowledge is a plus

  • Language: English required
