About the Role
You will support the overall delivery of WSJ/Barron’s subscribers. You will perform specified duties related to the department’s activities. You will be based in Chicopee, Massachusetts and report to the Manager, Distribution Delivery Systems and Support.
Gather payment and vendor data, validating details, and inputting the information into the system.
Make contact with customers by phone or email and contact with our delivery contractors.
Prepare weekly payments to delivery and trucking contractors.
Accuracy is imperative for this role.
Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and troubleshoot to address problems.
Attention to detail. Accuracy is imperative for this role.
1-2 years of office experience with PC expertise.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Prior customer service experience.
MS Word and strong MS Excel (able to navigate spreadsheets and utilize tools) skills .
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and prioritize a fluctuating daily work load.
Delivery related background (helpful).
Availability to work the 6:00 AM Saturday shift on a rotating basis, and the Monday – Friday 6:00 AM shift for vacation coverage.
