Position Summary Statement
Content Curation sits within the Custom Research group and is responsible for the creation and delivery of curated content features across a range of PIB products supported by Data Strategy. This includes Factiva Expert Search, Homepages, Newsstand and Web Content in Factiva.com; My Company Today newsletters; and Dow Jones Direct. The global group includes teams in Princeton, Barcelona and Singapore who are responsible for building and maintaining agents to crawl non-licensed web content; building and maintaining expert search queries, including dynamic “trending topics,” for click-and-go access by clients; assessing client needs and preparing customized newsletters to meet those needs; and building and maintaining Factiva product features including Homepages and Newsstand.
The Delivery Manager is a key role within the Content Curation team, supporting the Director of Content Curation, regional Content Curation Managers, Product, Sales, clients and our outsourcing partner ADP. The role will require a high degree of interaction with the Content analysts, CC managers, ADP and clients to ensure MCTs and DJDs are delivered with high quality and in a timely manner. This role will also ensure relations with Sales, Product and clients are maintained at a level that ensures continued strong business growth.
Be the first post-sale point of contact for all MCT, DJD deals. Manage operational components of set up and delivery, i.e. account activation, query writing, source selection, guidelines and newsletter builder process
Monitor newsletter deliveries to ensureMCTs/DJD are sent according to agreed contract requirements
Ensure KPIs for quality and delivery are met and tracked/reported on per agreed timelines.
Proactively communicate with customers about newsletter production issues including delayed or late deliveries
Own and manage the holiday coverage process to ensure MCT/DJDs are sent when needed and holiday messages are included. Should also ensure the service is not delivered if not required on a specific holiday
Own the production and distribution of customer usage data to regional managers to drive discussion and conclusions on the business direction
Escalate/follow up on all IT issues related to production and delivery. Keep management, analysts and partners informed
Manage the global MCT/DJD Timeliness tools and processes
Maintain all global MCT/DJD documentation/records and links to the Team’s intranet up to date
Work with regional Content Curation managers, partner, director and content analysts to ensure MCT/DJD delivery quality and timeliness
Work with Sales, Product and other Data Strategy teams to ensure that Content Curation deliveries meet the content needs of customers
Work with Customer Service and Sales to understand customer delivery needs and respond to customer questions
Work with external contractors to achieve delivery and quality goals are met
Work with Technology teams as needed to ensure tools are in good working order
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
2+ years working in Data Strategy/Content Curation
Exceptional organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities and detail oriented
Able to work under pressure
Experience in project management
Excellent verbal and written skills
Understanding of cultural sensitivities and time zones preferred
Understanding of the methods used to develop, serve and maintain curated content offerings in PIB products
Sound judgment, with the ability to solve problems independently
